4/26 journal topic
Today i learned that classmates have very different thoughts about life and the world, and it was cool because i actually got to get a little insight on what thoughts they think in their brain. I really liked the topic about "why we go to war" and "why is it okay for police officers to over abuse their powers", also observed how several people are hard to hear because they talk very low in front of the class.

• How Psychedelic drugs affect the brain.
• I surfed the internet and watch a couple videos on youtube.
• I learned that a physcedlic drug is a medication meant to alter cognition and perception.
• One way i sort of relate this topic to the class is how these drugs are said to make you see the world differently and your brain is thinking very differently when you're in a regular state of mind, just like when i come into this class i know my brain and thoughts are gonna be used differently then others. None of my other classes do socratic seminars or write down thoughts in a journal every class which is how my brain is used differently.
